Core Beliefs
The Word
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is without error and serves as our final authority for faith, truth and daily living.
God
We believe in one God (Deut. 6:4), the Creator of heaven and earth and all living things. He has revealed Himself to humanity as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Ghost as the indwelling Spirit.
Baptism
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. In baptism, believers identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Rom. 6:3-6; Col. 2:11-14; Acts 2:38).
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidence initially by speaking in other tongues, as experienced by the early Church (Acts 2:4). We also believe that the Holy Spirit is evidenced in an ongoing fashion by the Fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5;22-23)
